Today on Kate Messner’s #teacherswrite the author Madelyn Rosenberg asked us to write ourselves a postcard, using 10 words, and separate every word on the paper in poem like form. I thought it was a perfect day for me to create my postcard because of the traveling that I did.

– Describe the scene around you, using only 10 words or short phrases. Put one word or phrase on each line, so you’re laying it out like a poem. Think about your different senses as you study your scene and write it out.
I love this! What a great idea. I’ve heard a lot about Kate Messner and her writing. I’m putting some of her books on my TBR pile!

Yes, I was thinking that, too. It gives me an excuse to get back into photography again. 🙂
